The Management reserves the right to determine the departure time of tours directly on site based on the attendance of visitors and to close the activity without notice in case of particularly bad weather conditions ( severe thunderstorms, hail, etc. ). Therefore, we encourage you to contact us by phone before the Tour.
If you are arriving by CAR, click HERE to follow the route that will take you to our entrance at RAVACCIONE. While, for all other vehicles: MOTORCYCLE, CAMPER, SCHOOLBUS and PULLMAN (Max length: 12.5 mt and Height at 1 floor only) click HERE to follow the route that will take you to our entrance at FANTISCRITTI location.
VERY IMPORTANT: As a reminder, tourist coaches must apply for a CAVE PASS, which is required to access the marble basins and the city center. For information and cost of the pass, please send an email to the following address: turismo@comune.carrara.ms.it

Yes, our Tour is accessible to people of all ages, children, the elderly, people in wheelchairs, animals, children in strollers. The tour takes place, after an initial 3-minute Minibus ride, completely on foot, all on a level that is quietly passable by anyone.
About 50 minutes, including access to the quarry.
Tours can be in Italian, English, French and German. However, please CONTACT US to check the availability of the desired language for the day of your interest.
At the RAVACCION entrance we accept CASH or payment by CARDS. At the FANTISCRITTITI entrance it is possible to pay in CASH only.
Keep in mind that the indoor temperature is about 16° all year round, so we recommend dressing appropriately. As for the safety equipment (protective helmet), we will provide it for you directly on site. Finally, comfortable tennis-type shoes are recommended.
From the entrance FANTISCRITTI can be accessed by our MiniBuses. While from the RAVACCIONE entrance, in addition to accessing with our MiniBuses, it is possible to enter (if turnout conditions permit, to be verified on the spot) with your own vehicle, FOLLOWING our staff.

HOW TO REACH US FROM THE HIGHWAY:
– Highway exit A12 CARRARA left direction toward Carrara Centro (toward the mountains or quarries);
– Go all the way along Viale Galilei until the traffic light with Via Aurelia, keep right and turn right onto Aurelia towards Carrara Centro;
– Drive along the Aurelia until you reach the first traffic circle, keep in the left lane and take the third exit from the traffic circle, then go toward Carrara Centro, mountains and quarries;
– We turn onto Viale XX Settembre and follow it for about 10 minutes until we enter a tree-lined slope: enter Carrara Centro, keep to the right and follow the sign for OSPEDALE (H);
– You will come to a fork in the road near the Hospital (road to the right Hospital) take the left road towards Miseglia;
– You go all the way down the road and come to a stop at a small bridge, within sight on the right will remain an iron bridge of the old marble railway;
– At the stop sign take the road uphill on the left towards Miseglia (the road on the right leads to Bedizzano, and the road on the left downhill instead leads back to Carrara Centro);
– Follow the signs for MISEGLIA and continue uphill to Ponti di Vara until, on your left, you will find Bar L’Incanto.
– At this point, take the road on the left immediately after Bar L’Incanto and follow the signs for Piastra-RAVACCIONE. You will then pass through some tunnels before reaching us at RAVACCIONE right next to the old “Marmifera” Railway Station.
