From early morning, we engage in the extraction of blocks, mainly intended for sculpture. During the day we conduct MARMOTOUR guided tours lasting about one hour. Inside the quarry, you walk 400 meters, on a single level easily accessible to all, where you can admire:

Our guide will show you the process of cutting and extracting marble and tell you the history of the quarry. The main recommended entrance is at Ravaccione, from where it is also possible to observe the Michelangelo Quarry and the Station of the old Marmifera Railway. From this entrance, you will follow us down the tunnel with your vehicle for about 600 meters. Once we arrive at the quarry, we will park and begin the tour. Instead, if you show up at Fantiscritti (where our secondary entrance is located) we will have you board our minibuses for an approximately 3-minute ride that will take you into the heart of the mountain.
